Karsten became a certified Spinning® Instructor in 2002 and has been a member of the Spinning® Master Instructor team since 2016. Through his passion of road cycling and teaching, he also earned a cycling coach certification by the German Olympic Sports Confederation in 2011.
Spinning® has also had a significant impact on his professional career, creating a career working exclusively in the fitness industry in various roles such as a group fitness manager and deputy club manager.
Since 2008 Karsten has successfully organized various official Spinning® events with international Spinning® instructors and up to 300 participants from all over Europe. He himself has been involved as a presenter for the Spinning® program at many important events and fitness fairs.
While working for various high-profile sports agencies, he also gained a lot of experience behind the scenes of professional international road cycling and triathlon events and is still active as a freelancer at some UCI cycling races. In his position as training coordinator for the Spinning® program, Karsten is responsible for organizing trainings in German-speaking countries. His goal is to use his knowledge and passion for road cycling to inspire more and more people for the greatest indoor cycling program: Spinning®.
